Moon, Moon, Shiny and Silver

184/366 – Moon – A while ago I mused that photographing the moon is hard, this was my attempt at improving on that. I think I struck success.

Moon, moon, shining and silver,

Moon, moon, silver and white,

Moon, moon, whisper to children,

Sleep through the silvery night.

Moon, moon, moon, moon,

Sleep through the silvery night.

So how to photograph the moon at night? It is simple really. You need to treat the moon as daylight. Keep that in mind and it is easy.

For this photo, I set the ISO to 200, the exposure to 200 (?) and aperture to f16 (or was that f8)… Anyway, you get the jist.
