About Me

You can read a bit about why I started Chromatic Dramatic, in my first post on this site.

I didn’t cover off too much about me, and I don’t tend to say too much about me here, mainly because it isn’t too relevant.  However, my name is Mark Ross.

But I will summarise things.

I am engineer.

I am a husband.

I am a father of two gorgeous children.

I am a rugby tragic, but love sport in general.

I love travel.

I love photography, but I need to improve.

The latter point is why I’m here.  I’ve been playing with cameras for years, having had my own dark room at times etc.  The reality though I have only ever played around the edges, I haven’t pushed myself creatively.  Nice pictures, yes.  Creative.  Hmmmm… No.  With the advent of affordable digital SLR’s it is now the perfect opportunity to improve.

As I’ve never really gone out of my why to try and take magical photos, ie I’ve only really taken photos of what is in front of me, I’m relishing the prospect of improving.

It will be slow going though.

My first priority will always be by beautiful wife and children.  With the youngest only born in late 2010, I won’t have too much time for fitting the dramatic, in Chromatic Dramatic.

Life is a journey, and hence why I’m calling this a photographic journal.
