Time for Week Three of my 365

Yeehah… Week three is here, and what can I say. Yeehah! I finally get a pic that I’m ecstatic about.

It’s all about Blue.

I love the “Blue” photo, because I was wandering around Maroubra Beach wondering what I was going to take a photo of, smack bang in the middle of the day, in the ugly light.

I was sitting for ages, just to the right of the picture, hoping that something interesting would pass me by. I was even taking pictures of the wall and the steps, but it was all a bit, mehhhh, then it hit me; I might be able to get a nice framed view out to the ocean.

Gotcha!

Yes, the pic is in the ugly light, but it works quite well I think mainly because I’m quite into the over exposed pictures at the moment, and this meets that brief, plus also gives some nice detail on the walls.

This is the first photo this week that I'm really happy with. The Post Processing just came up so darn well. But it didn''t make it to be my picture of the week. See tomorrow (below)

This is my favourite picture of the week, and my favourite in the series to this point. More about that above in the text.

Another picture that I'm really happy with, just got a bit overshadowed by the prior to days photos.

This one just didn't quite work. A wider lens, and maybe (dare I say it), some HDR would have helped
